이 작업은 디지털 공간과 실제 경험을 결합한 시각적 기록이다. 지난 두 달 동안 10개 국 20여 도시를 여행하고 돌아온 뒤, 시간이 흐르며 점차 희미해지는 여행지에서의 경험이 야속하기만 했다. "남는 건 사진뿐"이라는 말처럼 디지털 공간에 남아있는 이미지와 기록들은 언제든지 다시 들여다볼 수 있는 일종의 기억 저장소임을 깨달았다. 동시에 우 리의 여행 경험이 기억 속에서 어떻게 편집되고 재구성되는지에 대한 질문을 품게 되었다. 이 작업은 물리적 여행이 끝난 후에도 디지털 공간을 통해 기억과 경험을 재탐색할 수 있는 새로운 방식을 제안한다.
구글어스의 항공 위성사진과 스트리트 뷰를 넘나들며 수집한 이미지들에 실제 여행 중 사용한 티켓들을 디지털 매체로 재구성하여 하나의 장소를 다양한 시각으로 표현하고자 했다. 또한 물리적 장소에서의 경험이 디지털 공간에서 어떻게 새로운 형태로 나타나는지 탐구하고자 했다.
작품 제목 'Re:Tour'는 영어로 '회귀'를 뜻하며, 실제 여행이 끝난 후에도 디지털 지도 속에서 여행을 다시 재현한다는 의미를 담고 있다. 작품 속의 사실적이면서도 비현실적 인 이미지는 디지털 매체가 만들어내는 새로운 시공간의 다층적이고 무한한 재해석 가능성을 말해준다. 스트리트 뷰 속 흐릿한 이미지는 디지털 세계의 모호함을 상징하고, 디지 털화된 티켓은 추억의 실체를 시각적으로 드러내면서 지도 위에 겹쳐진 개인적 경험의 좌표로 기능한다. 이 집합은 하나의 완결된 이야기이기보다는 그 순간에 담긴 감각과 기 억의 단편이자, 감정을 불러일으키는 매개체이다.
이 작업을 통해 지도라는 공적인 매체가 단순한 안내 도구를 넘어 개인의 기억을 담는 시각적 언어로 확장될 수 있음을 보여주며, 디지털 기술을 통해 언제 어디서든 재구성되고 확장되는 여행의 경험을 나누고자 한다.

This work is a visual record that combines digital space with real experiences. After traveling through 20 cities in 10 countries over the past two months, I felt the bittersweet nature of experiences fading away over time. I realized that the images and records left in digital space serve as a kind of memory repository that can be revisited at any time, echoing the saying, 'All that remains are the photographs.' At the same time, I began to question how our travel experiences are edited and reconstructed in our memories.
This work proposes a new way to re-explore memories and experiences through digital space, even after the physical journey has ended. By collecting images that move between Google Earth's satellite photos and Street View, I aimed to express a single location from various perspectives, using the tickets I had during my travels as part of the digital medium.
I also sought to explore how experiences from physical locations manifest in new forms in digital space.
The title of the work, 'Re:Tour,' signifies 'return' in English, embodying the idea of recreating the journey within the digital map even after the actual travel has concluded.
The realistic yet surreal images within the work highlight the multilayered and infinite reinterpretation possibilities that digital media can create. The blurred images in Street View symbolize the ambiguity of the digital world, while the digitized tickets visually reveal the essence of memories, functioning as coordinates of personal experiences layered on the map. This collection is not a complete story but rather a fragment of sensations and memories encapsulated in that moment, serving as a medium that evokes emotions.
Through this work, I aim to demonstrate that a public medium like a map can extend beyond a simple navigation tool to become a visual language that holds personal memories, sharing the experience of travel that can be reconstructed and expanded through digital technology anytime, anywhere.
