건축은 예술인가? 기술인가?
이런 논점에 있어 나는 건축은 사람들의 생각을 자극하는 예술이라 생각한다.
건축은 색과 형태의 조합으로 새롭게 해석될 여지를 가지고 있다. 이러한 시각에서 건축물의 기존 외관을 뛰어넘어 색과 디자인을 통해 새로운 공간감을 창조한다. 건축물의 기존 색을 지우고, 이를 대신해 강렬하거나 부드러운 색을 입히거나, 테두리를 만들거나, 흑백의 배경에 다른 건축물을 강렬한 색p로 강조하거나, 동그라미 형태를 통해 그림을 지우개로 일부를 지우는 듯한 표현 방식으로 건축 이미지를 재창조했다. 건물의 미학적이고 조형적인 모습을 보면 다른 차원으로 넘어가는 또 다른 문이라 느끼고, 건축 사진은 인간의 감정과 만족을 자극한다.
이러한 감정을 느낀 이유는 건물을 바라보는 것만으로 흥미롭고 다채로운 경험을 제공하기 때문이다. 빌딩이 많은 서울의 어느 한복판에서도 건물 하나를 보고 해체한다면 그것만의 예술적 심미가 존재한다.
도시의 건축물에 색과 장식을 더해 관람자에게 다양한 해석을 제시하고, 일상의 구조물이 예술적 변주를 통해 다채롭게 변모할 수 있음을 보여준다.
이를 통해 도시의 회색빛 풍경을 탈피하고, 건축물이 하나의 예술 매체로 재탄생할 수있음을 강조한다.

Is architecture art or technology?
I believe that architecture is art that stimulates people's thoughts.
Architecture holds room for new interpretation through the combination of colors and forms. From this perspective, architectural exteriors can transcend their original look, creating new spatial impressions through color and design. I experimented by erasing the original colors of buildings, replacing them with either bold or gentle hues, adding outlines, highlighting certain buildings with striking colors against monochromatic backgrounds, or incorporating circular shapes to seemingly erase parts of the architectural image like an eraser.
When viewing the aesthetic and sculptural form of buildings, I can feel like gateways to another dimension, and architectural photography stimulates human emotions and satisfaction.
The reason this evokes such feelings is that simply looking at buildings provides an interesting and multifaceted experience.
Even in the heart of a dense city like Seoul, if we deconstruct a single building, it reveals its unique aesthetic appeal.
By adding color and decoration to urban architecture, a variety of interpretations are presented to viewers, showing how everyday structures can transform through artistic variations. This approach seeks to break away from the gray landscapes of cities, emphasizing that architecture can be reborn as a medium of art.
