이 시리즈는 밤의 불빛들을 추상적인 구성으로 표현한 시리즈이다.
소설 <샤이닝 -욘 포세>에서 빛과 어둠의 관계, 음악적 운율을 다른 매체로 표현하는 방식에 대한 영감을 받았다.
<샤이닝>에서의 밤은 불확실함, 고립감, 불안, 깊은 성찰의 시간이며, 어둠 속에서 등장하는 사람의 형체를 한 빛 은 수많은 의문에 대해 아무런 대답도 해주지 않는다.
도시에서의 빛과 어둠은 공허와 욕망을 동시에 가지고 있는 인간 내면의 이중적인 모습을 시각화한다. 반짝이는 불빛 같은 순간의 환희와 공허는 매일 찾아오는 밤처럼 끝없이 반복된다.
나는 밤의 불빛들을 그림을 그리듯 촬영하였다. 장노출 기법은 빛의 일시적이며 덧없는 속성을 인식하게 한다. 추 상적이고 자유로운 형태들은 계속해서 움직이는 도시의 빛들을 운율감있게 표현하고자 한 시도이다.

This series captures the lights of the night in an abstract composition. Inspired by the novel Shining by Jon Fosse, it explores the relationship between light and darkness, as well as the rhythmic, musical quality expressed through a different medium. In Shining, nighttime represents uncertainty, isolation, anxiety, and a time of deep reflection, while figures of light appearing in the darkness offer no answers to numerous questions.
In urban settings, light and darkness reflect the duality of the human psyche, carrying both emptiness and desire. The fleeting joy and void, like flickering lights, recur endlessly like the night that arrives every day.
I photographed the lights of the night as if painting them. The long-exposure technique reveals the ephemeral and transient nature of light. The abstract, flowing shapes are an effort to capture the rhythmic movement of the city's ever-shifting lights.
