White Shroud는 사람이 죽어 습(9)할 때 시신에게 입히는 수의, 즉 죽음과 변화를 상징하는 천을 의미한다. 갑작스럽게 찾아온 극한의 추위로 지구는 빙하기처럼 변하고, 끝없이 쌓인 눈은 이 세계를 덮는다. 인류의 시대는 끝나고, 새로운 차가운 세상이 도래하며, 인류가 만든 사물들만이 존재한다. 이로써 눈은 인류와 지구에게 수의처럼 작용한다.
사물들은 마치 이 혹독한 환경에서 살아남은 존재로서 털옷이나 패딩 자켓을 입고, 이 상상 속 미래에서 지구의 새로운 생명체"가 된다. 옷을 입은 사물들이 자칫 귀엽게 느껴지지만, 그 외모속에 숨겨진 현실은 결코 가볍지 않다. 일상적인 사물과 생존을 위한 방한복의 조합은 지구에서의 삶이 예측할 수 없는 방식으로 변화할 수 있음을 시사하며, 불완전한 미래에 대한 성찰을 불러일으킨다.
그리하여 지구의 주인이 언제까지 인류일 수 있는지에 대한 질문을 던진다. 기후 변화와 환경위기가 점점 더 심각해지는 오늘날의 인류가 언제라도 지구에서 사라질 수 있다는 경고를 담고 있으며, 그 이후의 세상에 대한 상상을 불러일으킨다.

White Shroud refers to the shroud placed on a corpse during embalming. symbolizing death and transformation.
With the sudden onset of extreme cold, the Earth transforms into an ice age, and the endless accumulation of snow covers the world. The era of humanity comes to an end, and a new, cold world emerges, leaving only the objects they created behind. Thus, the snow acts as a shroud for both humanity and the Earth.
The objects, dressed in fur coats or padded jackets, appear as survivors adapted to this harsh environment, becoming the new "life forms" of Earth in this imagined future. While these dressed objects may seem cute, the reality hidden beneath their appearance is far from light. The combination of everyday items and survival gear suggests that life on Earth could change in unpredictable ways, provoking reflection on an uncertain future.
This prompts the question of how long humanity can remain the dominant force on Earth. It carries a warming about the growing severity of climate change and environmental crises, suggesting that humanity could vanish from the Earth at any moment, and evokes imagination about the world that would follow.
