본 작업은 관객의 움직임을 실시간으로 감지하고, 인공지능의 해석을 통해 낯선 시각적 형상으로 변환하는 인터랙티브 설치이다. 카메라가 포착한 몸짓은 단순히 기록되지 않으며, Stable Diffusion 기반의 AI는 인간의 흔적을 자신만의 언어로 번역한다. 그 결과 화면 속에는 꽃과 금속, 세포와 기계 부품이 뒤섞인 하이브리드 생명체가 생성된다. 이는 자연적 생명성과 인공적 구조가 융합된 존재로, 인간과 기계의 감각이 교차하는 지점을 상징한다. 익숙함과 낯섦의 경계에 선 이 형상은 "AI는 나를 어떻게 바라보는가"라는 질문을 던진다.
작품의 핵심은 인간과 기계 사이의 간극에서 발생하는 낯섦이다. 관객의 몸은 데이터로 환원되어, 다시 예측할 수 없는 시각적 존재로 재구성된다. 꽃의 유기성과 금속의 기계성, 세포의 생동감과 부품의 구조적 논리가 중첩되며, AI가 인간의 움직임을 완전히 이해하지 못한 채 '오해의 언어'로 재해석하는 과정을 드러낸다. 그 결과물은 인간이 상상하지 못했던 형태로 드러나며, 관객은 자신이 더 이상 온전히 자기 모습으로만 존재하지 않음을 체험한다.
이 작업은 인간과 인공지능이 공동 창작자로 만나는 지점을 탐구한다. 관객은 작품의 피사체이자 생성자이며, AI는 도구이자 해석자이며, 동시에 또 하나의 창작자이다. 하이브리드 생명체는 기술 속에서 새롭게 재탄생하는 인간의 모습, 그리고 인간과 기계가 함께 만들어내는 시각적 생태계를 제시한다.
결국 본 작업은 단순한 시각적 아름다움을 넘어, 기술 시대에 인간 존재가 어떻게 다시 읽히고 낯설게 재현되는지를 성찰하게 한다. 관객은 자신이 예술과 기술의 경계 위에 선 하나의 데이터적 존재임을 자각하며, 디지털 시대의 새로운 자연을 마주하게 된다.

This interactive installation captures the audience's movements in real time and transforms them into unfamiliar visual forms through the interpretive process of artificial intelligence. Using Stable Diffusion, the AI translates traces of human gestures into its own language, generating hybrid lifeforms that merge flowers, metals, cells, and mechanical fragments. These entities, situated between the organic and the synthetic, symbolize the intersection where human and machine perception converge and ask, "How does AI perceive me?"
The work explores the sense of estrangement that arises when human motion is reinterpreted through an imperfect machine perception. The audience's body is reduced to data and reconstructed into unpredictable visual beings, revealing AI's "language of misinterpretation." The fusion of organic vitality and mechanical logic forms ambiguous morphologies—neither entirely human nor artificial.
Here, humans and artificial intelligence meet as co-creators. The audience becomes both subject and generator, while AI functions as a tool, interpreter, and another creative agent. These hybrid lifeforms visualize a reimagined human existence within technology— a visual ecology shaped through collaboration between human and machine cognition.
Ultimately, the work reflects on how human existence is reread and rendered strange in the technological era, inviting viewers to encounter themselves as data-driven beings standing on the threshold between art and technology.
