팬덤은 취향이 겉으로 드러나는 문화다. 공연이 시작되기 직전, 관객은 이미 자신의 정체를 만들어 온 상태다. 그 순간을 포트레이트로 기록한다. 보이는 것을 과장하지 않고, 하나의 규칙으로 담는다.
이 작업의 중심은 영상이다. 정면 초상은 소재이자 근거로 축적되고, 영상은 그 초상을 실제 음악의 시간 위에 다시 배열한다. 개인이 만들어낸 개성이 흐름 속에서 군집의 리듬으로 변한다.
여기에서 표식은 꾸밈이 아니라 신호다. 같은 가수를 향하지만 각자 고유한 주파수를 가진다. 그 주파수의 떨림이 한 지점으로 모인다. 러닝타임의 틀 속에서, 에너지는 화면 밖으로 번진다.
팬은 ‘스타의 그림자’가 아니라 주체다. 외형은 모방을 넘어 해석이며, 그 해석이 모이면 한 시대의 감각이 된다. 사진은 개인의 추구미를 보여주고, 영상은 그 선택이 모여 만든 정서의 파장을 체감하게 한다.
결국 취향은 표식이 되고, 표식은 리듬이 된다. 오늘의 팬덤에서 정체성이 바깥으로 드러나는 과정을 보여주고자 한다.

Fandom is a culture where taste shows on the surface. Just before a concert begins, the audience has already assembled who they are. This work records that moment in portrait form. Nothing is exaggerated; everything is kept within a single rule.
The center of the project is video. Frontal portraits are accumulated as source and ground; the video re-arranges them along real musical time. What once read as individual character turns, in the flow, into the rhythm of a crowd.
Here, a marker is at once decoration and signal. People face the same artist, yet each carries a distinct frequency. Individual tremors gather to a point. Within a fixed running time, the energy spills past the frame.
Fans are not the artist’s shadow but subjects. Appearance is not mere imitation but interpretation, and its accumulation forms the feel of an era. The photographs show what each person pursues, and the video lets us sense the waves of feeling those choices create together.
Ultimately, taste becomes a signal, and signals gather into rhythm. The project seeks to make visible how identity comes to the surface in today’s fandom.
