뽀로로 컴퓨터의 멜로디와 공룡 로봇의 울음소리가 겹쳐 들리는 곳.
이곳은 인천에 있는 키니스 장난감병원이다.
평균 나이 78세의 박사님들은 14년째 자원봉사로 장난감을 고치고 있다. 맡겨지는 장난감은 종류도, 고장 난 부분도 제각각이지만 그들의 손끝은 언제나 익숙하고 단단하다.
“이걸 고쳐주면 받는 애가 얼마나 좋아할까”
그 말속에서 장난감은 더 이상 단순한 기계가 아니다.
세대를 잇는 다리이자, 사라졌던 소리를 되찾는 매개가 된다.
어르신들의 손을 거쳐 다시 작동하게 된 장난감은 아이의 일상으로 되돌아가고,그 과정에서 서로 다른 세대는 자연스럽게 이어진다.

Where the melody from a Pororo toy computer blends with the roar of a dinosaur robot —this is a toy hospital called Kinis in Incheon.
The volunteer “toy doctors,” whose average age is seventy-eight, have been repairing children’s toys for fourteen years. Each toy arrives with a different problem, yet their hands remain practiced and steady.
”Just imagine how happy the child will be when this is fixed.”
In that thought, a toy becomes more than a machine — it becomes a bridge across generations and a way to bring back sounds that had quietly faded over time.
Brought back to life by the elders’ hands, the toys return to a child’s everyday world. And in that moment of return, two distant generations naturally reconnect.
